Introduction of Tarlac State University

Tarlac State University (TSU) is a premier educational institution in Region 111 and a government-funded institution of higher learning established in 1906 and converted into a university in 1989. TSU has 12 Colleges, with a present population of 15,000, catering to the different graduate and baccalaureate degree programs in Engineering, Education, Arts and Sciences, Science, Business Administration and Accountancy, Architecture and Fine Arts, Computer Technology, Nursing, Public Administration and Law. The University has at present three (3) campuses on three locations with a total of 19.2 acre of land area, all geographicalIy conducive for learning, The latest landmark in the Lucinda campus is a 5-storey University Hostel which caters to foreign and local guests.

The University has been identified by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Center for Development and Excellence in various disciplines. TSU was awarded as one of the Ten Best Performing State Institutions in the Philippines 2011. The University has been awarded with an ISO: 9001 :2008 certification.
