Establishment of the Centre for Quality Management with The Global Institute of Management (GIM) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Continuing & Professional Studies (CUSCS)

The Chinese University of Hong Kong School of Continuing & Professional Studies (CUSCS) and the Global Institute of Management (GIM) have signed an agreement on December 15 2009 to establish the Centre for Quality Management (CQM) as the pioneer to develop quality management in the Pearl River Delta.

Vision and mission of the CQM:

The vision of the centre is to enhance the level of quality management and to promote the quality management development in Hong Kong and the neighboring areas. The missions focus on the following four areas:

To develop a series of Quality Management training programs with renowned universities, professional institutions, training and consultancy firms in developing and delivering fit-for-purpose programs that drive maximum values in line with the global quality management market and trends
To provide quality management related examinations for professional certification
To held regional conferences on quality management issues
To conduct research studies related to quality management, in collaborating with the Hong Kong Quality Management Association, the Macau Quality Management Association and the Shenzhen Association for Quality
